January 2005

Mike FrostWillie finished his championship with all bred-by points at the Saturday show in January.

Robin and Claire MillerBryce took a reserve behind Mike's Willie and took Winner's dog on Sunday for his first point and from the Bred-By class.

Elaine KvitekPhysics class is super difficult and I have another semester of this torture.

Deborah LuperHappy that my Lydia/Tiger Ray babies are in great homes, especially Indy and Melody - who are in fabulous agility homes and doing great.  Put a 5 point major on Caledon Quest for Barbara Aulbach in heavy competition in Portland.  Keeper went Best of Breed & Best Opposite Sex in Puyallup, and Best Opposite Sex twice and Best of Breed once in Portland with an entry of 68, including 5 specials.

Renee & Shirley BonifaceSadly report that Tyson came to visit Glory, but have no puppies.

June 2004

Deborah LuperWestar’s Dharma won a 5 point major and Best Opposite Sex over specials during the Fairbanks shows.  I’m so proud of her.  I was honored to serve as mistress of ceremonies for a memorial and tribute to President Ronald Regan today (June 11th).  It was a wonderful experience and was probably one of the best experiences of my life.

Robin MillerCongrats to Rev, 3 Best of Breeds, 2 Group 3rds and 1 group 2nd.  Had to pack and drive during a thunder and lightning storm and it was scary (although Claire thought it was funny that I flinched every time lightning struck).  We had to pull over and wait for it to pass.

Mike FrostWe got caught and wet during the downpour the last day of the Fairbanks shows.  Samantha tried to help us “catch” water off our awning and was quite the trooper going out of her way to catch some water as the awning gushed the water toward us.

May 2004

Debi Hill and Karen Hill – Karen ran Debi’s dog Killian in the NADAC trial today on the tunnelers course where he placed with a perfect score, earning his first agility leg ever.  This was his first agility trial, and they are very proud!

Robin Miller – SSCA and OTCC shows both went off without a hitch.  Robin was pleased that the obedience judge for OTCC complimented her on her performance as show secretary.

Robin also reported a bittersweet brag.  Her daughter Crystal accepted Eric Nelson’s proposal of marriage in April during National week, and they will be moving to Washington , D.C. so Eric can take up his new job.  Unfortunately, this means that Robin’s granddaughter, Amber, her “demo dog” will be leaving as well.

Deborah Luper – Rascal is now Am/Int’l Ch BeBoni’s Little Rascal, Am/Can CD, Can CDX, OA, NAJ, finishing his AKC championship with three five point majors in quick succession.  Finishing was especially meaningful as his breeder, Shirley Boniface, had just entered the hospital and really needed cheerful news, which explains why Deborah burst out sobbing when Rascal was chosen for winner’s dog.
